Cut the watermelon in half, peel it with a spoon, then remove part of the core with a knife and cut it into cubes. Mix the melons with the rest of the fruit and put them in the hollowed watermelon. If serving only adults, we can add 1-2 tablespoons of cognac over the fruit, in which case let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. If we do not put alcohol, we can serve immediately.
